Located in the heart of Jakarta, Jakarta Creative Hub was designed in 2016 and inaugurated in March 2017 by former governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama. Jakarta Creative Hub is a space that aims to grow Jakarta-based startups and small businesses. It consists of 3 major areas: makerspace, a workshop space full of tools and utilities to create stuff; classrooms; and a co-office area.

Up until now, the hub still operates daily and is managed by Pemprov DKI Jakarta. It provides workshops, seminars, training, and mentoring for the city’s creative communities.
