Having lived in a 4-storey shophouse for almost 30 years, this
family dreams to have a house with an enormous garden and a
big, open space to invite friends and colleagues to come over.
This house is proposed to have a spacious living room with
two-sided opening, which is connected to a garden roundabout
across the site. Rows of trees are arranged to reflect natural
light. Moreover, the design is proposed to have reflecing pond
as water feature to protect against Jakarta’s hot, scorching air.
